There were 7 guests dining for our friend’s birthday. I had made a booking but it was not really necessary being mid week.
The dark wood and classic decor, dim lighting and soft jazz music in the background provides an elegant ambiance, the perfect place for date night.
And that I did.
The Australian 1824 short ribs were to die for! Slow hot-smoked, with black pepper dust marinated in the Rib Room sauce served on top of glazed asparagus and sugar snap peas. The meat fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. Just amazing.
My friend ordered the salmon which she said was divine and some others had the beef brisket which was also very tasty, served upon a bed of mac and cheese and a side of grilled corn.
One of my friends had The Rib Room burger which she requested to be cooked well done but it came out still pink in the middle. That was the only fault we had out of 7 meals.
Overall it was a extremely enjoyable and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended.
